British Paints MasterBlaster Interior Emulsion is super economy water thinnable washable coating for application on interior surfaces and provides a rich smooth finish near to the price of Distemper. MasterBlaster outperforms conventional distempers in all respects be it durability, hiding, covering capacity, finish etc.

Recommended thinner 50-75% By volume with water

Drying time Surface dry 20-30 minutes (@28-30°C & 60±5% R.H.)

Re-coating period About 4-6 hours.

Surface Preparation

Newly plastered surface must be allowed to mature for a minimum period of six months. The surface should be sanded with emery paper no. 180 to remove loose particles, paint, dust, cracked & flaked paint and wipe clean.

Primer

Apply a coat of British Paints solvent thinnable primer or water thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer(For repainting use water thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer and for new surface solvent thinnable primer is recommended) and allow drying for 6-8 hours.

Putty

Smoothen the surface by filling dents with a thin coat of British Paints Acrylic Wall Putty and allow drying for 4-6 hours. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 180 and wipe clean. Primer : Apply another coat of coat of British Paints solvent thinnable primer or water thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer and allow drying for 6-8 hours. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 320 and wipe clean.

Topcoat

Thin 1 litre of MasterBlaster Interior Emulsion with 500-700 ml of water. Apply 2-3 coats of this thinned paint with a gap 3-4 hours in between two coats.
