Surface Preparation

Newly plastered surface must be allowed to mature for a minimum period of six months. Rub the surface with emery paper no. 180 to remove loose particles, paint, dust, cracked & flaked paint, and wipe clean. Oily or greasy area to be wiped with mild soap solution followed by rubbing with a clean soft cloth and allow the surface to dry before priming.

Primer

Apply a coat of British Paints Solvent Thinnable Primer or Water Thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer ( For repainting use Water Thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer and for new surface Solvent Thinnable Primer is recommended) and allow drying for 6-8 hour.

Putty

Smoothen the surface by filling dents with a thin coat of British Paints Acrylic Wall Putty and allow drying for 4-6 hours. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 180 and wipe clean.

Primer

Apply another coat of British Paints Solvent Thinnable Primer or Water Thinnable Acrylic Cement Primer and allow drying for 6-8 hours. Sand the surface with emery paper no. 320 and wipe clean.

Top Coat

Thin 1 Liter of Master Blaster Smart Interior Emulsion with 500-600 ml of water. Apply 2-3 coats of this thinned paint with a gap of 4-5 hours in between two coats.
