Expa Floor Coat Emulsion

Expa Floor Coat Emulsion is based on 100% Pure Acrylic Emulsion designed specifically for application on Exterior Floor Tiles. It is reinforced with Special Silicone Emulsion to offer outstanding water resistance, scrub resistance with enhanced adhesion over Terrace Floor Tiles, Cement Tiles or any other plain cement surfaces. It offers excellent resistant properties against abrasion from human, vehicular traffic, sun damage and algal/fungal attack.

Directions For Use

Performance of Expa Floor Coat depends on surface preparation & application as outlined below.

SURFACE PREPARATION Surface to be painted should be washed with hose water to remove loose dust, dirt etc. Vigorous scrub with hard wire brush/ Emery Paper is mandatory for removing Algae, Fungus, Moss, Mildew etc. followed by removing the residues with high pressure water jet.
PRIMER Apply a self-priming coat by brush /roller after dilution with 30-40% potable water and allow to dry for 6-8 hrs. Dilute Expa Floor Coat up to 10-15% by volume with water to get appropriate viscosity for application of each coat.
EMULSION Apply 2 coats of British Paints Expa Floor Coat Emulsion keeping an interval 6-7 Hours in between the coats. Light trafficking is recommended after 24 Hours of drying. Heavy traffic may be allowed after 72 hours of drying. Drying time must be enhanced in cold, damp and humid climatic condition. Floor Coat is not recommended to use over glazed/ ceramic tiles, previously painted glossy surfaces, bituminous surfaces etc.
