Directions For Use
It is used to enhance the properties of cement mortar required for new construction as well as for repair and renovation of old concrete structure.

Application
Concrete surface is to be cleaned to remove dust, loose materials and any other foreign deposits by method of grinding, sand blasting, water blasting, acid cleaning as suitable and approved.Concrete surface needs to be pre-wetted for minimum one hour prior to application of Shieldcrete URP. Before application water must be removed and surface should remain damp.
Any depression on surface should be filled and leveled with Shieldcrete URP fillers (based on mix as mentioned in above technical data).
For finish coat mixing ratio is to be followed as mentioned in above technical data. The mixer should be stirred thoroughly to make it free from any entrapped air bubbles and to smooth uniform consistency.
Mix is to be applied by brush on prepared surface. Surface should be made wet / damp in case of porous nature of surface.
Two or more coats are recommended. First coat is to be allowed to dry for 5-6 hours before second coat. Interval between coats 5-6 hours.
Curing
Application should be done at temperature above 10°C and below 35°C. After application of final coat, initial air drying is to be allowed for 5-6 hours, after that moist curing shall be done for the next 24 hours by periodic spraying of water.Following moist curing, the coating shall be allowed to air dry for 3 days before submission in water, if required for use.
